levels
which
will
enable
Cabot
Japan
in
Shimonoseki
area
to
become
a
leader
in
industry.
Cabot
Japan
Shimonoseki
Plant
(SM)
locates
in
Shimonoseki
City、Yamaguchi
perfecter.
Started
up
the
operation
as
Toyo
Continental
Carbon
(TCC)
on
1980
June.
Encountered
several
changes
as、on
1984
Nov、Mitsui
Toatsu
merged
TCC.
On
1988
Oct、the
plant
joined
Cabot
Group
as
Showa
Cabot
and
became
Cabot
Japan
on
2005
November
as
it
is
Today.
Shimonoseki
plant
locates
inside
the
premises
of
Shimonoseki
MitsuiChemical
KK.
Keeping
good
relationship
with
Shimonoseki
Mitsui
side
becomes
very
important.
Shimonoseki
Mitsui
Chemical
KK
is
the
land
owner、at
the
same
time、important
customer
for
steam
business、and
also
an
utilities
supplier.

Cabot
Japan
SM
Plant
is
an
important
supplier
to
major
tire
manufacturing
companies
in
Japan
and
Global
business
field.
Many
of
the
plants
of
these
major
tire
manufacturing
companies、exists
near
Cabot
SM
plant、which
makes
the
strategic
importance
of
Cabot
SM
much
larger.
Cabot
SM
FGM
leads
a
team
of
department
managers
and
is
accountable
for
all
aspects
of
managing
manufacturing
processes
in
that
produce
carbon
black
while
complying
with
all
policies、procedures、regulations、laws、and
maintaining
alignment
with
Cabot’s
Culture
and
Values.
As
a
key
member
of
the
Japan
Leadership
Team
(JPLT)、the
Cabot
SM
FGM
develops
and
implements
the
plant’s
long-range
plan、goals
and
objectives
that
support、and
are
aligned
with、business
and
global
manufacturing
goals.
In
this
role、FGM
will
share
key
learnings
with
others
and
will
continuously
seek
for
improvement
ideas
in
technology
and
managerial
methods
from
others.
This
position
requires
a
passion
for
process
excellence、a
drive
for
results、and
the
determination、know
how
and
leadership
presence
to
drive
teams
through
a
transformational
performance
improvement
process
ensuring
that
results
are
achieved.

応募条件

？ Ability to orchestrate the pace and process of change to maintain operating effectiveness；ability to challenge status quo，encourage performance-improving changes even when faced with resistance.
？ Prior experience in leading successful plant turnaround driving　transformational performance improvement.
？ Leadership skills to motivate and lead cross-functional staff. Ability to deal with external contacts and community as needed. May require negotiations with government agencies and other entities.
？ Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety procedures. Knowledge of Continuous Improvement process and techniques. Strong focus on safety and environmental concerns.
？ Comprehensive knowledge of industry and In-depth understanding of how plant integrates witha business’ manufacturing goals.
？ Ability to organize and manage diverse and multiple resources，including budgets. Analytical skills to evaluate a variety of dynamic and complex situations requiring innovative solutions.
？ Bachelor/University Degree，preferably in a technical discipline.
？ 5 Years Manufacturing Plant experience as manager above.
？ People/budget management experience for 5 Years.
？ Proficient in English ability and has high communication skill in Japanese language and culture is strongly preferred.
？ D&I sensibility to manage diverse talents and manage sensitive D&I topics properly.

週休2日制（休日は土日祝日）　有給休暇4日～17日（下限日数は、入社直後の付与日数となります）　呼出対応あり（代休取得）、クリスマス休日、年末年始、夏季、特別（慶弔、子の看護、介護、病気、罹災等）、リフレッシュ休暇
